          dat ek U hand in my lewe sien

          dat ek die waaragtige God kan dien

 

3.       Gelukkig is ek dat U my rigting gee

          dat ek kan wandel op U weë

          dat U my hand vashou

          dat U U hand oor my lewe hou

 

4.       Gelukkig is ek dat U my lei

          dat u lankmoedig is met my

          dat U my U waarheid leer

          want U is my Heer

 

5.       Gelukkig is ek dat ek vir ewig sal lewe

dat U my my oortredinge vergewe

dat U die pad saam met my stap

dat ek van U krag kan tap

 

6.       Gelukkig is ek dat U U oog op my hou

          dat ek aan U kan vasklou

          vir U spore op my hart

          vir U naam op my hart
