Soos water wat verby alles skuur
Wat uiteindelik in die see uitloop
Soos ons na ons dood toe loop
Hy loop nie om ‘n rots sonder om te kla
En gee nie sonder om te vra
Hy kerf sy eie paadjie oop
Maar uiteindelik loop hy dood
Is die natuur nie mooi
En die mens verstrooi?
Wat probeer stroomop swem
Om sy natuur te tem
Maar alles loop uit op die dood
Al is jy klein of is jy groot
Teen hierdie natuur kan jy nie gaan
Al sal jy dit nie verstaan
