Die mooiste mooiste vlinder
Met vlerkies wat saggies waai

Elke nou en dan ontpop sy weer
Soos die aandblom se geur
Weereens verruklik mooi
Blou ogies en wangetjies rooi
Al bly jy plat op die grond
Of vlieg jy in die hoë takke rond
Al gaan die wêreld jou verslind
