Van ‘n boom tot papier
In ‘n brief om weg te stuur
Ja, ‘n boom om op te skryf
Vasgebind aan die poot van ‘n duif
‘n Boom word in stukkies gekap
En al sy sap word getap
In fyn stukkies opgebreek
En dan in water geweek
‘n klomp rollers voer hom mee
om hom die nuwe vorm te gee
