dan sweef ek tot by jou

hoor ek weer jou lag
Die maan skyn jou gesig
op die water met sy lig
‘n Vuurvlieggie sing my liefdeslied
‘n padda fluit dit op ‘n riet
die windjie dra dit stadig mee
om dit vir jou te gee
Die nag het stil geword
Die windjie is ook vort
Weereens daal die stilte neer
Vir my om terug te keer
