Bly ons liefde net ‘n wens
Verbode en gedoem
Dit is wat hulle dit noem
Maar ek vra die vraag
Aan enigiemand wat dit waag
Om ons te oordeel
Tot sy eie voordeel
Kan enige liefde verbode wees
Al is dit ook net in die gees
Liefde onskuldig en mooi
Moet ons nie met klippe gooi
In die liefdelose wêreld van ons
Kan dit maar gons
Oor ons liefde vir mekaar
Wat ons altyd sal bewaar.
