En ek is waternat
Dit is nou wat jy daarvan kry
As jy met ‘n motorfiets in die reën wil ry
Sommige mense ry net verby
Ander waai weer vir my
Die meeste mense sal
Seker dink ek is mal
Die sonnetjie breek weer deur
En die geur
Van die reën sal bly
Al is die reën ook lankal verby
Die wolke trek weer oop
Ek sal droë klere moet koop
Daarom sal ek nou maar moet ry
En oppas dat ek nie gly.
