Hallo daar, man op die maan
Hoe kan ek na jou toe gaan
Ek wil nou nie lieg
Maar ek wens ek kom vlieg

Hoe lyk die aarde daaronder
‘n Groot bal in die lug
in ‘n oneindigende vlug
‘n Bal van verskillende kleure
met groot reviere en mere
omring deur wolke wit
berge wat op die aarde sit
As ek maar net kon verstaan
Hoe het ek na jou toe gegaan
Ek het dit nie verdien
Om die aarde in al sy glorie te sien
In my drome was ek by jou
En terug in my kamer nou
Ek is weer wakker
Jou ou rakker….
