Wat vir altyd daar bly staan
En hoe die son ookal skyn
Die oseaan sal nooit verdwyn
Min waag dit diep na God
Sommige staan net op die wal en spot
Ander speel net in die branders rond
En spring rond en bond
Net een of twee waag dit nader
Daar waar die groot visse vergader
In die dieptes van die oseaan
